  • Condition: This is a used Intrimik Inside Bore Micrometer in GREAT condition. This item was purchased from a calibration and repair technician with over 20 years experience. He disassembled this piece, cleaned the spindle thread and oiled them. Removed the feet, polished and cleaned the feet channels and the feet themselves. The feet channels are the most common reason people have poor running intrimiks. They have to be clean and free of burrs. This item came out of a lab, not a dirty factory, so they were pretty clean to begin with. Foot spring tension was checked as well to make sure it is correct. Then set the zero on each with calibrated cylindrical rings and checked with a larger ring at the full scale value. So these have been professionally checked and I suppose you can say refurbished. Item does have engraving on it from previous owner which is shown in the photos.
