NFL Super Bowl XXII Goal Post
Vintage metal cylinder part of a goal post used in the National Football League Super Bowl XXII which featured the teams Washington Redskins and the Denver Broncos. This piece of the goal post is signed "To Charley May all your good fortunes be as numerous as blades of grass George P. Toma Super Bowl XXII 1988." It
is about 18" tall section. The piece is about 5.5" wide with the opening itself being about 5". There is a San Diego Super Bowl Task Force Inc sticker label on it. There is red paint and scuffs and scratches, but it is a really interesting piece. Game used Super Bowl items don't come around often. I believe it to be part
of the goal post structure part, possibly a underground piece, not a piece that would have been seen in photos. I'm not sure what piece this actually went to.
