    Here is a Starrett No. 436 - 4" to 5" outside  micrometer that is in excellect condition. It has been used so you will find a few cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. There are no initials or engravings anywhere on it. The thimble spins easily without any hesitations. Smooth! The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. This micrometer is still very accurate as well. This is demonstrated by Starrett standard in the last photo. This standard is not included. Please take a look at all of the photos as they can help in describing the item better than I can.
