Vintage STEINMEYER Micrometer in wooden box USA 1" - 3" (1.0 - 3.0)

Description

Local estate find.  This micrometer is in good condition and opens and closes normally. The little knob on the end turns one-way and clicks but I'm not sure what it's doing (or not doing).   Comes with wrench and small rod that's marked "Moore & Wright Sheffield England 49".  Wood box is sounds but finish shows much wear.
