    Description

This banknote album contains three banknotes that circulated in Japan during the Second World War. The denominations included in the set are 10 yen, 5 sen, and 10 sen. The 10 yen note is a discounted treasury bond that the government issued to fund the war effort. The 5 sen and 10 sen notes were issued by the Nippon Ginko Ken (Bank of Japan) after it was restructured in 1942. The 10 sen note features the Heiwa Dainoto (Peace Tower) in Miyazaki while the 5 sen note features the national hero Kusunoki Masashige. This banknote set and the album also come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
